MYSHAPE RECEIVES FUNDING LED BY PASADENA ANGELS
First Round of Financing Completed
for Online Clothing Store myShape™

PASADENA, Calif. (June 5, 2006) – myShape™ (myShape.com) has completed its first round of funding from Pasadena Angels, a private investor group. The online clothing store founded by successful entrepreneur and former co-founder of Gemstar Corporation Louise Wannier, is set to officially launch October 2006.

Andy Thornburg of the Pasadena Angels, acted as the principal interface with investors in the due diligence process. Thornburg based his strong support on Louise Wannier’s track record and history of innovative businesses devoted to making technology work for busy people. “I was impressed with Louise’s experience in two previous high tech deals and her understanding of women’s fashion. She has created a solution that has immense potential for saving women countless hours of time and frustration.”

myShape offers professional women distinctive clothes from a selection of designers that match their individual measurements, body shape and preferences. Using its patent-pending ShapeMatch™ system, myShape has created a unique response to a challenge that has daunted women without a solution until now.

Pasadena Angels, a group of entrepreneurial investors who provide coaching and early-stage financing to start-up companies, chose to provide funding to myShape.

“The group was impressed with Wannier’s credentials and business plan,” said Al Schneider, vice chairman of the Pasadena Angels. “We’re backed by a really great group of angels led by the Pasadena Angels,” said Wannier. “With the first round of funding now complete, we plan to continue building our membership and keep the momentum going.”

The media are also paying attention. myShape’s external publicity team has generated a significant amount of print and broadcast coverage including The Los Angeles Times and syndicated show “Kurt the Cyberguy.” With only this initial media campaign prior to launch, online membership for myShape has exceeded 10,000 members in less than a month and continues to grow daily.

Wannier’s myShape team consists of a talented group of professionals that have also caught the eye of industry leaders and investors, including Peter D. Whitford, former President Worldwide – The Disney Store and former Chairman and CEO of The Wet Seal Inc.
